The Las Piteras Resort is located in the naturist village of Charco del Palo, founded in the 1970s, which has gradually become a popular recreational resort. Swimming is possible in the pool or in two natural swimming pools (tidal pools) in the adjacent sea cove. It is an all-year-round naturist destination.
The island of Lanzarote offers many natural beauties worth seeing. We highly recommend renting a car on-site and taking trips according to your preferences.
Charco del Palo has the only official permission for naturism in the Canary Islands. Thanks to this, naturism here is not limited to just a part of the beaches but operates on a broader scale. Moreover, the resort is not strictly naturist; the choice is entirely yours.
The resort is located northeast of the island of Lanzarote, which is of volcanic origin and is part of the Canary Islands. The island's coastline is washed by the Atlantic Ocean. Lanzarote is the oldest of the Canary Islands.
Accommodation in the resort is in apartments. A child's crib is available upon request for an additional fee.
In each accommodation, you will find TV+Sat, internet for a fee, see accommodation description. Bed linen, towels, and linens are changed weekly, and more frequent changes can be arranged for an additional fee. A doctor or, for example, an ATM is available in the nearby town of Guatiza.
In the Charco del Palo resort, you have the option of self-catering or you can use one of the three restaurants in the resort. La Tunera Restaurant, where you can taste grilled specialties every Monday. Petra Pub Restaurant is open all day, and refreshments are available throughout the day. Tropical Restaurant is a friendly service restaurant with its pool. You can also choose the reopened Romantica Restaurant. You can also visit the local bar in the resort.
There is also a small supermarket directly in the resort, where you can buy everything you need for your holiday. Other supermarkets can be found, for example, in the town of Mala (3 km). Larger stores with a wider range are approximately 20 km away.
You can use several pools in individual facilities or two "natural" pools on the coast. Table tennis. Excursions to nearby Guatiza, for example.
As the island of Lanzarote is of volcanic origin, you will find many natural wonders and beauties here; let's name just a few. The cave labyrinth Cueva de los Verdes, the green lagoon at El Golfo, Guinate Tropical Park with a small zoo, lagoons, and waterfalls, or, for example, the world of volcanoes in Timanfaya National Park.
Since the island is of volcanic origin, it is safe to swim in the Atlantic only when it is calm and wave-free. In the immediate vicinity of the resort, you will find three natural volcanic "pools" that fill with water during high tide, allowing you to swim in the Atlantic without risks.
